| 内容記述 | 未就学児の保護者を対象に,肥満予防のための保健教育に対するニーズを明らかにすることを目的に,自記式質問紙による調査を行い,347名より回答を得た.88.7%の保護者が子どもの肥満や生活習慣病予防について知りたいと回答した.保健教育の運営に関しては,集団形式で幼稚園や保育園を活用し,食事・肥満が子どもへ与える影響などの保護者の関心のある内容について,参加しやすい時間に栄養士などの専門職が実施するという方法が望まれていた.さらに,自分の子どもが将来肥満になるのではという不安を持つ保護者や,実際の肥満度が高い子どもを持つ者は,プライバシーに配慮した個別形式の保健教育を求めていた. | |||||

| 内容記述 | An anonymous survey was conducted for the purpose of understanding what parents of preschool children expect from health education for preventing obesity. Questionnaires were collected from 347 respondents. To the question "Do you want to know how to prevent obesity and lifestyle-related diseases in children?", 88.7% of respondents answered "Yes." Regarding the methods for providing health education on this subject, many of the respondents reported hoping that nutritionists or other specialists would talk to groups of parents about the effects of daily diet and obesity on children. They also hoped that health education would be provided at nursery schools and kindergartens at the most convenient time of day for the parents. Respondents who have overweight children or are afraid that their children may become obese in the future tended to want more privacy-conscious, individualized instruction. | |||||
