| 内容記述 | The treatment changes following application of a combination of chin cap and maxillary protraction appliances were predicted using lateral cephalograms of pretreatment. Nineteen prepubertal patients were selected for this study. The following method was used. First; angular and linear measurements were done on the tracings of cephalograms. Second; changes between pretreatment and posttreatment measurements were calculated. Third; the equations for predicting the amount of changes during treatment were derived by use of multiple regression analysis. In conclusion especially in the skeletal pattern, equations were found highly accurate for predicting the amount of changes during treatment | |||||
