The participants were 12 older women aged 65 years or older with PFF. Data on participantsʼ demographics, hospitalization course, and nutritional status at three time points（on admission, two weeks post-surgery, and at discharge）were collected through medical records, observation, and measurement. At discharge, participants were classified into two groups based on their walking status（a non-walking group and a walking recovery group）, and the association with each variable was analyzed. As a result, 75.0% of the participants were diagnosed with malnutrition, and 50.0% were able to regain walking ability. In terms of the association between nutritional status and walking recovery, the albumin（Alb）level at two weeks post-surgery was significantly higher in the walking recovery group compared to the non-walking group（p = .032）. Significant differences were observed in Alb level changes across the three time points（p = .019）, with a decreasing trend noted from admission to two weeks post-surgery and from admission to discharge（p = .053 for both）. While Alb levels declined due to the impact of surgical stress, insufficient protein intake during hospitalization may have hindered adequate recovery.
