The psychological processes seen in brain-dead donor families have been classified into three or four steps, as was described in the crisis model. In clinical settings, however, the brain-dead donor families do not always follow these steps orderly. The grief of brain-dead donor families is often relieved by organ transplantation, which is a will of the brain-dead donor. This is probably due not only to that they would respond the donor's will, but also to that they have followed the process about how the brain-dead donor had the will of organ donation and deeply sympathized with it. The nursing staff should offer correct information to the brain-dead donor families on neutral ground to organ transplantation, and should make an attempt to provide comfortable environments with the brain-dead donor families to go through the last time with the donor and to communicate fully with each other. Nursing care for the brain-dead donor families is also important after organ transplantation. Coordinating efforts are encouraged to obtain the close cooperation of specialties that is essential for the consecutive mental support to relieve the grief of brain-dead donor families.}, pages = {81--86}, title = {脳死臓器提供におけるドナー家族の悲嘆心理と看護介入に関する研究}, volume = {2}, year = {2006} }
