These data obtained were analysed clinically from the standpoint of epidemiology. Results obtained were as follows; 1) The positive ratio of HBs-Ag among the dentists and dental hygenists were 4.4% and 6.1%. These percentage were higher than that of Japanese people at large, but the values were the average in medical and dental workers. 2) The positive ratio of HBs-Ab among the dentists and nurses were41.5% and 40.0%.
