But, this technique has some difficulties in obtaining a functional diagnosis. According to the remarkable development of nuclear medicine, scintigraphy can be applied in the dynamic study of salivary gland diseases, in addition to the static studies. In this report, a case of xerostomia observed in a 27-year-old male was examined. This case was examined with ^<99m>TcO^-_4 and scinticamera by using the technique of dynamic image proccessing. Some discussions were added to the roentogenographic findings and scintigraphic observations.
