Twenty three patients were selected for this study. Postpharyngeal area was divided into the pharynx and airway, and each area was measured by distance and area. 1. There was a tendency seen in which after protraction of the maxilla, the airway became wider. 2. The postpharyngeal changes showed a slight correlation with the hard tissue changes. 3.
