Experimental animals were divided into 4 groups as follows : Group A : 10 rats were injected moderate doses of aminoacetonitrile every day for 3 weeks. Group B and D : Rats were injected aminoacetonitrile with the above mentioned method together with injections of growth hormone every other day. Group C : 10 rats were injected aminoacetonitrile and growth hormone in the same manner as Group B and D after extirpation of the pituitary gland. After 3 weeks, the writer recognized synergetic effects of growth hormone that accelerated the lathyrogenic response in mandibles.
