Thirty rats of about 200 g were used and fractures were produced in the mandiblae. Soft X-ray radiography and microradiography were carried out 4 days, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days after the fracturing. Histological examinations were made to evaluate the relationships between the findings. The soft X-ray radiograms and microradiograms clearly showed the healing process of the bone injuries in detail.
