At first half term, an evaluation form forall practice tasks was developed. Then students prepared MO Class II type inlay cavities and evaluated those by themselves, according to the evaluation form at the end of first half term and of the second half term. Students and instructors evaluated the same MO class II inlay preparated cavity models for standarization of evaluations. The conclusions were as followed 1 At the evaluation at the end of the first half term students evaluated the prepared cavity as better than the instructors. However the difference was not statistically significant. At the end of second half term, students' evalutions still indicated better prepared cavities than the instructors' evaluations. This difference was statistically significant. 2 Preparation techniques after the second half term were poorer than that after the first half term according to the evaluation of students and instructors. 3 By discrimination analysis, the differences in evaluation of standanzed models by students and instructors was not significantly different.
