A 41-year-old male was referred for further exmination of a radiolucent lesion of the mandible. Intraoral examination showed no abnomal findings except for moderate mobility of the 〓. Radiographic examination showed a 20×15mm, unilocular radiolucent area involving the crown of 〓 in the region of the left mandibular angle. In addition there was root resorption of the 〓. The clinical diagnosis was dentigerous cyst of the mandible. The tumor was extirpated with the extraction of 〓 and 〓 under local anesthesia. The removed tissue was a soft, dark reddish and solid mass measuring 13×15×10mm. Histologically, the tumor consisted of relatively scattered mature fibrous connective tissue with cords and strands of odontogenic epithelium. From the above, the lesion was diagnosed as central odontogenic fibrome. There were no postoperative complications and the patient showed noevidence of recurrence two years after the operation.}, pages = {301--304}, title = {<臨床>下顎骨に発生した中心性歯原性線維腫の1例}, volume = {16}, year = {1997} }
