The capillary-to-fiber ratio (C/F ratio) of the masseter muscle in the pelleted diet group increased significantly from 5 to 7 weeks. Similarly, the amount of VEGF in the masseter muscles increased significantly from 5 to 7 weeks. The C/F ratio and VEGF content of the powdered diet group were always lower than those of the pelleted diet group. These results indicate that VEGF plays an important role in the development of capillary networks in the masseter muscle. It is also suggested that the masticatory load affects the development of capillary networks in masseter muscle.}, pages = {155--162}, title = {ラット咀嚼筋の毛細血管網に関する研究 : 2.幼若ラット咬筋における血管新生誘導因子と毛細血管網の発達の関係について}, volume = {18}, year = {1999} }
