Results were as follows : 1. There were 83 males and 177 females. 2. The average age was 23.5 years, 23.1 years old for females and 24.4 years old for males. 3. The diagnosis of mandibular prognathism was made for 242 patients (93.1%). Sagittal split ramus osteotomy (SSRO) was performed on 122 (68.9%) cases. 4. The mean time of operation for SSRO was 4hr 6min ± 55min, and for SSRO + Le Fort I osteotomy it was 7hr 29min ± 1hr 23min. 5.
