Stellate ganglion block (SGB) therapy, acupuncture and magnetic electrotherapy (AME) are utilized for the treatment of neuroparalysis following tooth extraction. The SGB therapy includes 30injections (2-3times/week) as a single set, and subsequently, the therapeutic effects are re-evaluated. To determine the efficacy of the treatment, patient symptoms and skin temperature increase at the site of the hypoesthesia serves as indices. Subtle temperature changes, which were detected via thermography, were converted into numeric values in this study.
