| 内容記述 | Cephalograms of reversed occlusion cases at pretreatment and after correction were analyzed to compare and to discuss the effect of each appliances. These cases were divided into 3 groups of 20 cases each according to the appliances used. The following results were obtained. 1. In the maxillary protracting group, maxillary dental arch and maxillary bone revealed the forward positioning with counterclockwise rotation and mandible revealed the retraction with clockwise rotation. 2. In the chin cap group, the labial movement of maxillary incisors and lingual movement of mandibular incisors and clockwise rotation of the mandible were shown. 3. In the light wire group, labial inclination of maxillary and mandibular incisors and clockwise rotation of mandible were shown. 4. The effect of the maxillary protracting appliance was considered to be the forward movement of the maxillary complex with a counterclockwise rotation. 5. The effect of chin cap was considered to be a retraction of the mandible and the enhan-cement of the clockwise rotation of the mandible. | |||||
