| 内容記述 | Auto-tomography was attempted using a conventional X-ray equipment to faciliate the diagnosis of TMJ diseases. Tomograms obtained with this method demonstrated sufficient images, although they were inferior to those obtained with conventional tomography. Screen type X-ray films and rare earth element type intensifying screen were used. To remove the scattering X-rays, Grodel effect was applied without using a grid. The exposure dose were less than 1/4 compared to that of conventional tomography. Since the X-ray output can be small, even at small facilities, auto-tomography can be successfully applied for the diagnosis. | |||||
