| 内容記述 | A case of blowout fracture of the left orbit is reported. A 61-year-old man was refered to our hospital for investigation of a swelling of the left infraorbital region. Physical examination revealed swelling and sensory paralysis of this region and double vision. Radiographical examination showed the fracture of the left orbital floor and the intraorbital contents prolapsed into the maxillary sinus. Surgical intervention to the orbital floor was performed through the lower eyelid and maxillary sinus. After retraction of the intraorbital contents, human dehydrated dura mater was placed to straddle the area of the fracture. After treatment, double vision disappered immediately and sensory paralysis was greatly improved. | |||||
