内容記述 | This study was performed to investigate the healing process of bone trauma and the effect of Solcoseryl. One hundred twenty six Wistar rats were used and divided into 3 groups. Bone defects (15×4mm) on the mandibles were made as the control. The same defects were made on the faulty unions to break mandibles as an experimental group Solcoseryl (1ml/kg/day) was administered to the other experimental group. The healing process was evaluated histopathologically, histometncally and radiologically. From the histological and histometncal findings, the active osteoid bone formation was observed on the edge of the defect. On the other hand, penosteal new bone formation was produced m the healing process following penosteal reaction on the faulty unions. New cartilage was produced on the faulty unions more than the control. In the Solcoseryl administered rats, active penosteal reaction was seen and the amount of new bone was increased on the early stage. It was suggested that Solcoseryl might accelerate the wound healing. | |||||
