| 内容記述 | A clinical study of general treatment over twenty-years in the Department of Dental Anesthesiology at the Health Sciences University of Hokkaido Hospital A clinical study was made of 1,830 general treatment during a twenty-year period (1980-1999) in Dental Anesthesiology at the Health Sciences University of Hokkaido Hospital The number of cases per year tended to increase, with over 100 cases a year since 1994 More males (928 cases) than females (902 cases) was showed in this study The cases with general anesthesia, and especially conscious sedation increased since 1994 There were very few cases of monitoring Recently cases with outpatient general anesthesia increased, and twenty-three of 114 (20 2%) were cases of outpatient general anesthesia in the year 1999 Good preparation with a thorough knowledge of the general condition of the patient is necessary to permit dental treatment to be accomplished safely and smoothly. | |||||
