| 内容記述 | 医薬品開発の進歩は,医療の向上と共にいくつかの医薬品による副作用被害という社会問題をももたらしてきた。歯科診療に使用される医薬品は年々増加し,さらに医薬分業の推進などもあいまって,歯科医師にとって医薬品の適正使用のための基本的知識の必要性が大きくなっていると考えられる。特に歯科治療後に投与された鎮痛剤による喘息発作による死亡事故は,現在歯科医師に求められる医薬品の安全な使用のための知識の一つの基準を示すものと考えられる。このような観点から,本学歯学部学生の臨床実習の中に,薬剤部が担当する医薬品の適正使用関連事項についての薬局実習が設けられている。1982年から1996年までの15年間の薬局実習の経過をまとめ,検討を加えたのでその結果を報告する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | About 15 years of clinical pharmacy practice for dental students conducted with dental hospital pharmacists was studied. The purpose of this practice is to become able to evaluate suitable drugs for individual patients and to write correct prescriptions. The term of the practice was changed during the 15 years, at first it was 1 day, then extended to 5 days, and now it is 3 days. The practice involeved the following : 1) lecture about clinical pharmacy and drugs used in dentistry, 2) study by observation of drug management and drug preparation, 3) practice to prescribe and study about dental drugs. Students also write a paper on drug therapy and side effects of drugs. The practice established that almost all students were able to understand how to evaluate the efficacy and safety of drugs used with package inserts or formulary, and they were able to write appropriate prescriptions. This investigation demonstrated that continuous improvement of the clinical pharmacy practice to dental students is needed. | |||||
